Beltwayliterature is my own personal venue where I explore the undiscovered country, one book at a time. This site is not your typical book blog/review site. Beltwayliterature is a personal account of my impressions and overall thoughts of each book I read, nothing overly critical. This site is more of a hobby for me, a place to document my thoughts so I can have a personal record of what I’ve read.
What books will you read about here? That, in itself, is a very interesting question! Since 2008, I have been mostly reading classical literature, after I happened to come across, at Barnes and Noble, a two-volume set of The Complete Sherlock Holmes. As I was reading the first volume, I discovered that I needed to read more classics, as I wasn’t overly familiar with them. So you’ll definitely see me talking about classical literature here.
You will also find that I’ll be reading fantasy, biographies, history, etc. Really, whatever suits my fancy at that particular point in time.
I will also discuss other book and reading related topics along the way.
I hope you’ll enjoy reading about my journey and join me. Thanks for taking the time to stop by!
